Know our Customer’ is a very special initiative for releaseMyAd.  It is one of the favourite sections of our entire team. This is simply because, “Know our Customer” helps us solve issues faced by our clients, make amends in our system, highlight the strengths and features of a medium of advertising, improve our services and above all communicate on one-to-one basis with our customers. Through this section we understand our customers and attempt to convey that how newspaper as a medium has aided their purpose or need for advertising.’

In an age of high profile jobs and high maintenance lifestyle, appearance is of utmost significance. People want to look their best and get rid of any kind of flaws that they have in their appearances. Being presentable enough for a public appearance and preferably better than the others is a criterion all working people consider as first priority. Nuleaf Clinic for Skin and Hair Treatment located in Pune, caters to this need of people craving for the perfect appearance. Mr. Tushar Dhananjay Shivsagar describes his marketing and promotional plans using newspaper as a medium.

Q. Can you describe the services you provide?

Acne Therapy Treatment at Nuleaf

A. Nuleaf Clinic for Skin and Hair Treatment offers all kinds of skin treatment related to acne, white spots, dandruff, skin diseases, hair transplant as well as hair fall issues. Basically we provide different kinds of dermatological solutions and consultations.

Q. What was your marketing objective?

A. We haven’t yet completely formulated our marketing plans and objectives but we wanted to test Newspaper as an advertising platform and gauge its relevance based on the responses. We plan to engage into online advertising and social media marketing in future, all of this for promotional relevance and brand awareness.

Q. Who was target audience?

A. The intended target audience comprised of mainly the moneyed class or the professional class, especially the IT sector. This is because Skin Treatment is quite an expensive and the services we provide have to be up to the mark as we cannot afford to spoil the way a person looks. The specific target audience I have referred to possesses the money to invest and for them appearance matter, which is why we intend to reach out to them.

A. Since our first couple of ads were just a trial run, we did not expect too many responses. It was just a small advertisement in the classified section and was only for experimental purposes. But still we did get a few responses from a handful of people and all of them were genuine.

Though our marketing strategy is in its developmental stage, our primary and first focus is to use newspapers a platform for promotions. Hence we plan to invest a lot more in newspaper advertising.

Q. Why did you book your newspaper advertisement online through a portal like releaseMyAd?

A. Booking a simple newspaper ad online was much easier than visiting the publishing house directly to book the ad. It was convenient and time saving as well. I chose releaseMyAd as it was the first website that came up in my search and also as I am aware of the value of coming up among the top searches on Google.

Q. How was your experience with releaseMyAd?

A. All in all it was really easy, but I faced certain issues with the ad designing part. I could not upload my own ad design and I was unable to determine the reasons for it until I got to know that the format in which my ad was composed could not be uploaded on the site. But while booking the ad, I wasn’t aware of this problem so I had to create an ad with the help of your existing online template for classified display ads.

But apart from this technical glitch or rather confusion, the entire experience was good and I plan to continue booking ads through releaseMyAd in future.
