Q.     Tell us about your business?

A.  We have taken up an initiative to provide news, information and even images to our customers from anywhere on any device like mobiles, tabs and the Internet.  This was thought of as a service due to the busy work schedules of people in today’s day and age. Everyday news and information seekers can now avail an integrated portal with information and news from different sectors like business, sports, entertainment and even current affairs. We have a team of around 70-100 people working and handling different departments of the company.

Q.     Why did you need to advertise?

A. Our sole purpose of advertising was for recruitment purposes for our growing organisation. As the company is developing and growing, we needed more and more people to manage the different sections which require different set of skills.

Q.     Who is your target audience?

A. Our company mainly needed to focus on qualified, young, vibrant and efficient candidates with Mass Communication as academic background with excellent communication skills, along with software engineers, Online marketing executives with proper and relevant academic background.  In short the target audience varied based on the position we were hiring for.

Q.     How effective has newspaper advertising been for you? Are you willing to invest in newspaper advertising again, if necessary?

A. The results and candidate responses varied again based on the positions vacant. Newspaper being a reliable source of mass communication faired satisfactory results but weren’t at par with our expectations. In spite of that the newspaper candidate respondents were really skilled and genuine, hence if required we would surely opt for newspaper advertising for recruitment purposes if and when necessary.  But I must admit that Newspaper Advertising is the best medium for achieving recruitment goals.
