A loss of share certificate advertisement helps you obtain fresh ones easily!

Shares are what make up the share capital of a company. As the name implies, a ‘share’ refers to a proportion or share of the company. People who purchase shares, therefore, are owners of that fraction of the company’s total share capital.

Companies raise money for their activities by issuing shares to the public. People buy shares and become shareholders, and become entitled to dividends based on the profits that the company earns. In other words, they become legal owners of their portion of the company’s share capital which they have purchased.

When someone purchases shares, they are issued share certificates. A share certificate is a document that certifies that a person is the legal and rightful owner of that specific share or set of shares. This document contains the name of the company and relevant information about the shares, such as the name of the shareholder, the monetary value of the shares and the number of shares that have been purchased by the shareholder.

These certificates are legally enforceable documents that are proof of a person’s ownership of the said shares. This is what makes share certificates highly valuable, and therefore, need to be kept safely and carefully.

However, we are all human beings. At some point or the other, we will invariably tend to lose or misplace important objects or documents. Misplacing or losing such items will no doubt cause a tremendous amount of stress and tension, and retrieving them becomes the immediate next course of action.

Lost Share Certificate Ad in Newspaper

It may so happen that on some occasions, retrieval is not possible, such as if an item is lost during travel or while moving from one house to another, or due to theft. In such instances, duplicates of the same documents need to be arranged. The very same applies to share certificates, and this is where a loss of share certificate advertisement comes in.

A loss of share certificate advertisement is an advertisement that is placed in a newspaper, which is a declaration that share certificates owned by a person have been lost or misplaced. By publishing this ad in a newspaper, it facilitates the issuance of duplicate share certificates.

Booking a share certificate advertisement is a legal requirement, along with the filing of an FIR at a local police station. This is in place to prevent fraud and to make sure that requests for duplicate share certificates are bonafide and genuine.

A newspaper advertisement for lost share certificates contains all relevant information regarding the misplaced share certificates, so that anyone who finds them may contact the rightful owner and arrange a handover of the same, as well as an official declaration that the misplacement or loss of the share certificates is genuine.

releaseMyAd helps you to book your lost share certificate ads so that you can obtain duplicate share certificates with ease. releaseMyAd is India’s largest self-service online ad booking platform with more than a decade of experience in the advertising industry. A true Story which will definitely make you love your sibling more than ever before!

lost-and-found-newspaper -ads

If you are one those who has lost his faith in humanity or one of those who cannot bear to see the cruel hands of modern civilisation nudge their way into the by lanes and crevices of morality, justice, I bring to you a small story that seems like the script of any of those ‘lost and found formula’ films aka Amar Akbar Anthony, Yaadon Ki Baarat etc. that the 20th century Hindi cinema revelled in putting on the celluloid. But this story is as real as it gets and its characters are flesh and blood like you and me.

lost-and-foundKanwar Pal Singh also called Sudesh, carrying his height of 5.7”, a body clad in white kurta and black pants, a toothless face and a mind in a psychologically unstable state, trudges along listlessly on the footpath of an unknown city. At that very same moment on seeing Kanwar Pal Singh, a boy sitting on the opposite side and reading the Amar Ujala early in the morning, makes a call.

Meanwhile in another city…

A phone rings. Mr. SP Singh, Executive Director CPP of HPCL gets a call at his office at seven in the evening from an unknown boy asking him to meet at a Dhaba he owned on the outskirts of Ghaziabad. Mr. Singh, frantically pushes his office files shut and pulls out of his chair to head for the Dhaba.

Why would he pay heed to the stranger, you might think? After all, what could be so urgent?

Mr. Singh, on reaching the Dhaba breaks into tears of joy seeing his brother, Kanwar Pal Singh (the one described above) who had strayed from home and not returned back since the last 20 days. He embraced Sudesh to take him back home where he gave his innocent brother a hot water bath and made him sleep comfortably to soothe his mind, make him forget the trials of the last few troublesome days.

This was the reason behind the urgency in which Mr. Singh left his office.

On the 21st day of his fraternal search, the Good Samaritan had called Mr. Singh after seeing and rechecking the Advertisement Mr. Singh had placed in Amar Ujala through releaseMyAd, an online advertisement site. It publicized a photograph of his lost brother along with his details of physical description and condition, contact address and the promise of monetary reward.

This is a true tale of love, faith, altruism, life’s twists and turns.

If you are like the persons I described at the beginning of the page, then I am sure your faith in humanity has inched to an increase of 20 %. If you are already a joyful soul, then it has squished your heart with a tingling pain of happiness. To the customer care and executives of ReleaseMyAd, who helped book the Ad, it brought a smile on their faces, knowing that they had brought back joy into one family’s life.  To the pragmatic minded 21st c technology oriented, logical newbies there is good news – You can breathe a sigh of relief because gone are the days when you would have to sing a song common to your clan to find your kith and kin! (For the convenience of the FB hooked generation I am referring to the Bolly Blockbuster Yaadon Ki Baarat). The alternatives are ready to be explored!

Special supporting documents are required for processing certain categories of ads to the publication. These ads are Obituary ads, Lost and Found ads, Change of Name, Property Notice, Marriage Notice, Public Notice and Situation Abroad ads.

To know what documents are necessary for what ad categories, simply review the following points:

For Change of Name – A Notarized Affidavit of Name Change is required for publishing any change of name ad in the newspaper.  Apart from this a copy approved and signed by a Government Gazette Officer is also acceptable.  Some newspapers like Midday and DNA accept only Government Gazette Approved Copy.

The Notarized Affidavit of Name change or Gazette copy should not be more than 6 months old.

Lost & Found – A Police FIR copy or copy of General Diary Entry is required to publish a Lost & Found ad. Notarized affidavit also serves the same purpose.

Obituary – To publish an Obituary ad, Death certificate or Doctor’s Note is obligatory.  The doctor’s note should be in his/her letterhead and should be duly signed mentioning the name of the deceased along with the cause of death.

Situation Abroad – The general requirement for Situation Abroad ad is a Declaration in a Standard company Letterhead stating the number of vacancies available in the organization and that the organization wants to advertize regarding the same in a particular newspaper.

Apart from the declaration in Company Letterhead, some publications require Embassy Clearance Certificate. The advertiser must provide a Clearance Note from the Embassy of the country in which the vacancy is available.

Public Notice – Public Notice ads usually require details supporting the notice in a practicing Lawyer’s Letterhead. The details in the Lawyer’s letterhead should inform the reason for publishing the ad. The registration number of the lawyer along with his signature and seal should be present in the supporting document.

Marriage Notice – Marriage Notice ads merely require a copy of an application for Marriage Notice as supporting document.

Medical purpose ads – Various medical ads like Kidney donor or egg donor ads require authorization letter from registered hospitals or doctors. These documents should be duly signed and sealed by the relevant authorities.

Other Documents – Apart from the above, there are some special requirements of documents which are specific to certain newspapers. Newspapers like Amar Ujala require copy of Photo ID proof for publishing any Property and Business ad.  Often, few publications ask for photo ID proof for Loan or Finance related business ads.

The purpose behind providing such documentation is to confirm if the customer is genuine and the ad is authentic. The contact details provided and the claims made in the ad matter are genuine and supported by facts.

The supporting documents are required to prevent any kind of fraudulent ad getting published in the newspaper. This is one of the very crucial reasons why newspaper ads and advertisers are trusted much more than other media advertisers.
