The economy of a country is affected by the financial condition of the industries and individuals of that country. Having a clear and true picture of the financial condition of a company or an individual is essential in such a scenario. Financial Auditing firms are hired exactly to serve this purpose. They give an unbiased and exact data with complete information about the actual financial standing of an organisation or individual. Quality Accounting and Auditing Firm is one such independent auditing consultancy owned by Mr. Aayush Jain, where a number of chartered accountants are employed. He provides us with an insight on what role newspaper advertising has played in his promotional campaign.

A. Quality Accounting & AuditingFirm is an independent auditing firm and is owned by me, Aayush Jain. There is a group of Chartered Accountants under me and we offer accounting and auditing services to companies as well as individuals as per their demand.

Our services are offered on contract basis and can be hired by small and medium companies. We also offer our services to manage and audit personal individual accounts and expenditures.

Q. Why did you feel the need to advertise?

A. The main and only reason for advertising for promotional purposes and to get clients to hire our services.

Q. Who was your target audience?

A. We primarily wanted to reach out to private limited companies or SMEs, as we commonly address them as and individuals for personal account audits and accounting services. MNCs were strictly off the list of prospective clients as they usually have internal auditors and rendering our services run a high risk for us.

Q. How effective was newspaper advertising for you? Would you advertise in newspapers in future?

A. I had my advertisement published twice on a continuous basis. I published it for the first time in October 2012, which was run continuously for 3 days and the next time I published it in June 2013 which again ran straight for 3 days. Both the times the results were nil, I did not receive a single response from people who wanted hire our services for themselves or their firms.

Newspaper advertising has not given me any result which is why I had to shift to a different medium of advertising. Currently we are into SMS marketing, email marketing, online advertising etc. We have completely transformed to digital marketing which is quite economical and has even proved quite effective for the services we provide. I had spent a lot of money on newspaper advertising but it did not fetch me any results, so I would not invest in newspaper advertising in future.

Q. Why did you choose to book your newspaper ads through an online portal like releaseMyAd?

A. Today the world is online and is highly tech savvy. As I told you before, people even advertise online. It saves a lot of time, money and effort of the advertiser. It is not possible to visit a newspaper publishing house every now and then to get one ad published in one newspaper.

Q. How was your experience with releaseMyAd while booking your ad?

A. The experience was quite good. I did not face any issues while booking the advertisement through your website. All the steps are clearly defined and the process is distinctly specified on the website. The booking was quite easy and hassle-free.
